Pablo had a young owner who suffered a tragedy. Pablo stopped getting what he needed. He was often locked alone in a studio apartment for days at a time and was going to be put down.

An older man in the building stepped up and took Pablo in. Saved his life. For a while, that was enough. But now the man is sick. Heart problems. Surgery coming. He uses a walker. And Pablo, a probable husky mix, is too much dog. Pablo drags him down the street like he's pulling a sled.

So here we are.

Pablo is trainable. He picks things up fast. Neighbors have been stepping in to help with his walks and care, and he responds well to every new person and command they introduce (including "no pulling"). His challenge has never been learning. It's consistency. It's having one person, one home, who shows up the same way every day.

The second owner gave everything he had. But this chapter needs someone new.

Pablo plays well with other dogs. He's cuddly, affectionate, and freakishly friendly. He seems fine with cats, though the cats are still deciding how they feel about him. He needs activity, presence, and a home where he is the main character.
